So, this morning at 2 AM, I fired up a 3.30 NLHE tournament on PokerStars. 2183 players started. Just wanted to post a few hands:

Looking back at this hand, it was probably unnecessary aggression, but the bet on the flop was so small and MP1 had been playing so many hands. So I played back with a raise, and he folded.

The way this hand was played, I think the bet sizing on the flop and the shove on the turn was okay. Just curious as to whether a preflop shove would have induced a call from CO.

For this hand, I had 99 in the small blind. I had a moderate stack, and was facing a 3-bet from the button. I figured that a jam from the original raiser was likely, so I folded. But I probably should’ve folded anyway even if the original raiser would have flatted. Do you ever shove 99 there?

This hand was actually scary because once I saw that I flopped the nuts, I got disconnected. I reconnected in time to see that OP had shoved lol. Thoughts on whether I should have shoved pre-flop instead of the flat?

I should have folded on the flop there. But the bet on the flop seemed like a reluctant continuation bet. So instead of doing what I should have done, I raised, which worked out.

The hand I went out on with 28 players remaining.
Obviously, I should have folded preflop.
Not a tourney player, so some of the reads of sizing may be off.
1) I only raise this flop against fools (note that you never ever have 2pair, TPTK, etc. on that flop), so if you have that read then fine (the small bet size is an argument). Your own flop raise is pretty small. Given he calls, I typically put him on a dumber Q or maybe a stubborn 8. If you think he’s the type of player to fold that to another bet on a blank turn, do so.
2) I honestly am kind of lost in the preflop situation. The guy is megadeep and might be trapping you, so if he’s good I’d be scared. If I were shallower I try to get it in early (like preflop), but as played this is the best flop you can hope for. Flop and turn are standard. Good bet sizing.
3) Just fold. Stop being so results-oriented. Most of other times you see some monsters, and sometimes you see AKs that actually suck out on you.
4) I prefer jamming pre. Most of times he’s jamming flop and you’re fairly lost.
5) Nh.
